SMS Terms of Service
These SMS Terms govern the Tantivo SMS Ticket Alerts program. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Program and sender
Program name: Tantivo SMS Ticket Alerts. Messages are sent by Tantivo LLC.
This program sends operational alerts to Tantivo account holders about their own work. It is not a marketing program, and we do not send promotional text messages through it.
Who receives messages
Only signed-in Tantivo users who have enrolled themselves. You enroll from your own account settings by entering your own mobile number and checking the consent box. No one can enroll you: a workspace administrator can make the feature available to their organization, but cannot add an individual person to it.
What we send
- Ticket assignment alerts — when a support ticket is assigned to you.
- Urgent unassigned ticket alerts — when an urgent ticket has no assignee and you are the on-call technician.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on ticket activity. There is no fixed number of messages per period.
Cost
Standard message and data rates may apply. Tantivo does not charge you for these messages; any charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will stop receiving messages from this program.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- You can also turn alerts off at any time in your Tantivo account settings.

Opting out of SMS does not disable or affect your Tantivo account. You keep full access to the Service and continue to receive the same information in the application.
Consent is not a condition
Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services, and is not a condition of employment.
Carrier delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we handle your mobile information
Mobile information and SMS consent data are never sold, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We disclose this information only to the service providers needed to operate and deliver the SMS program — for example, the messaging provider that transmits the message to your carrier — and only for that purpose. Our full handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers
Support is available on major US mobile carriers. Carrier participation can change and is outside our control.
Changes to these SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify enrolled users.
